To create a realistic and immersive design, a solid understanding of 3D fundamentals and how light behaves is invaluable. Exploring 3D software such as Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Blender and other can greatly enhance the ability to bring the design to life.

Realism

Incorporating skeuomorphic elements into my designs allows me to provide users with a sense of familiarity and intuitive interaction. I firmly believe that when interfaces resemble the physical objects we encounter in our daily lives, people feel more comfortable and confident using them.

Through my design process, I utilized Figma's versatile set of features to bring this compressor plugin to life. I mainly used a combination of inner and drop shadow effects, combined gradients, blending modes, and strokes to achieve a captivating level of realism.
